I forgot to mention: the glasses I'm wearing at 4:23 are blue light filtering glasses that can be bought for cheap on amazon. However, you should still avoid electronic devices as their addictive qualities still keep your mind alert and over stimulated. Switching to something entirely different is key.

You nailed it when you described it as mentally hyperactive but externally inattentive. When I was diagnosed with ADHD she said I tend to go back-and-forth between the inattentiveness and the hyperactive side.

Great tips! I generally over stimulate myself before bed. I watch (listen) TV and play a game on my phone at the same time. And I'll do that until I start to nod off. I knew it wasn't a good way to handle my overactive mind, but it does wear me out so I can sleep. I will be trying your tips! Thanks for the video!

My idea for a relaxing nighttime routine is to watch your videos and drift off to sleep. The dreams are pretty good too.

By the way, the plug-ins can make Pets sick. My dog threw up for two days before I figured out what was causing it and threw them away. They may smell somewhat good to us but they’re chemicals that are very bad for them.
I enjoy putting lavender on my pillow too, but
I plan to get a cat and recently found out that they can’t stand the smell of lavender or citrus, my two favorite fragrances! 😬😡Now I’ll be researching what essential oils I can use.

My teacher let my reading group read a comic book and that was one of the only books that I have been able to read fully. 😂😂.

The best option for me that ive found so far is listening to a podcast, sadly the one i use has to few episodes of it that im soon to sick of hearing the same episodes for it to work.

my every nighttime routine is watching youtube until I fall asleep. some also suggest that reading is helpful but for me it's not because my imagination runs wilder whenever I read books. yesterday, I tried to change something in my habit(but still fell asleep around 2:30 am), for me I think making essays about a certain topic is helpful to exhaust me and my mind. but I still need more ways to easily fall asleep.
