You are a lifesaver!!! Thank you soo much for these videos! It's a shame that I am paying my university thousands of dollars each year to provide me with an adequate education yet I have to come here on YouTube to figure this stuff out because the math professors have to cram what should be a five hour course into a 3 hour course. So they speed through the material and try to cram as much info into an hour and fifteen minute class as possible. By the end of that hour and fifteen minutes we will have probably covered 4 -5 chapters...Yes, 4 -5 chapters of pre calc. So I have to come home and spend all of my free time re-teaching myself the material or covering things that the teacher did not have time to cover himself. Ridiculous...Thanks Patrick : )

Thank you! I've been gone for a week and I fell behind my high school class. My mentor teaches like a college professor so he's not really the greatest person to get help from. I was making my mistakes at the end of my problems, thanks to your videos I finally realized that. I feel like a moron.

Why does the square root of 2x+4 * the square root of 2x+4 = 2x+4. Can anyone explain that?

of course!!!! I canceled out the square root instead of squaring the whole equation in the parenthesis!!!! No wonder I never got to the FOIL step. Silly me, lol. Thanks!!
