Better climate. Nice people.
I am happy Mexico is doing well economically. And immigrants bring in more resources. Most just stay in their bubble with other immigrants.
I bought a big forest in 2004. And it is still possible to get land and live off grid in Mexico, while the USA makes it illegal to live off-grid.

I always have said just by moving or relocating to another place or country its an emotional stressful experience, for all the things are going on in the world now days it really worth to take the chance in looking for a better place to live, for you or your family, like always have said dont make a spontaneous move, investigate, get informed through your friends, videos or visiting, stay for a couple weeks, look around and than make a plan. The most important issue to deal with, definitely its your mentality, your willingness, your attitude to accept a new reality and you'll be fine, small cities or towns its the best.

I'll take this even FURTHER.... Many would say it's the TOXIC social environment in the U.S.. There seems a sense of hostile feeling in many cities and states between communities.... You can Blame politics or social backgrounds, but people in Mexico make an effort to live a life filled with harmony... Jose thanks for your video. US is very violent and confrontational. I'm not talking just about getting attacked or robbed at gunpoint. People in the US confront strangers. People in the US are very aggressive about differences of opinions with strangers.Most people in the USA believe everyone they meet is wrong and wishes them ill. In Mexico, most of the people involved in crime have specific goals that don't have anything to do with a person living their life. the average person in Mexico has been trained schooled from birth to show respect to all people.
I have never experienced the level of convenience that I have in Mexico City. We have three doctors within 3 blocks. 2 dentists a large JCPenney or Kohls type department store. 2 local small grocery stores. 3 barbers. 2 shoe shine access. Walmart 4 blocks away. Its like a small town but where I live the selection is huge.

I am building a custom home within a master-planned guard-gated community in Mexico surrounded by pine forests and beautiful mountains ⛰️ - I could have never done that in the US on my salary - I still love California and it will always be home but I think I made a great decision. I don't know if it will be permanent because I'll miss my American suburban lifestyle but I do totally hit the jackpot on this one.

Yeah I have never been to Mexico but one of my best friends is Mexican American and he has been wanting me to go to Mexico with him someday to just see how beautiful the country is. One of these days I will go. I have lived in the UAE and the US and the police in the UAE are some of the nicest police that I have ever met. But when I lived in the US the police were always rude. When I was living in the US when I was 18 one of my neighbors called the police on me just for walking in my own neighborhood he thought I didn't live there and thought I was doing something suspicious because I had a beard and was wearing a hoody. I had to literally show the police where my house was, I have never had that issue in Egypt and the UAE that has never happened. In both Egypt and the UAEthe police are very welcoming and kind.

Mexico is 90% or more FAMILY oriented.... family is the strength and building block of any nation. LOVE Mexico. In QRO now. Hard to assimilate? No. Much better society. I feel much safer in MX also. Agree the cops in Mexico are amazing, down to earth, easy to speak to normal people.
