Poor information and not accurate....need to click the box in 'audio codec' to keep the original audio AND you need to add .mp4 to the converted video BEFORE you press Start

The first few movies I converted: mkv to mp4 turned out fine, but now - and the last few times I have tried the conversion, it "finishes" but the conversion is incomplete - e.g. in the latest try, I have 0.98 GB out of 2.67 GB while the conversion has just stopped before completion. When I click on it (the black VLC conversion screen), I get the message: "The output file already exists. If recording continues, the file will be overridden and its content will be lost". If I click on "keep" the file just stays at 0.98 GB {and is unwatchable). If I click on "overwrite", the same old sh*t just happens again and I end up with a useless 0.98 GB blank file.

finaly a solution for those strange pixel camera videos
also if you wanna select multiple files at the last step of destination
check the append '-convered ' to filename
this basicly makes it so that the files dont overwrite eachother and you can just drag ur vids after that
