How to Convert MP4 Files to MOV (and vice versa) for FREE

If you don't see the file extension in Windows, change it in your settings: Control Panel ~ Appearance and Personalization ~ Folder Options ~ View tab ~ Advanced Settings ~ uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

I filmed in MP4 but my boss just said it had to be .MOV - I thought they were the same thing. Your video confirms my suspicion - I just changed the extensions and now I'm golden.

I'm really shook how this actually works! although in my actual folder it's impossible to change the name, when I dropped the mp4s into adobe premiere, I actually saw the name.MP4 and changed to name.MOV and it worked! it matters if you capitalize it or not

Do you know how to change multiple file as the same time, or is it only one file at a time process? Ie: If you have 50 files, do you know of any way to convert faster than changing one file at a time? Thank you.
