So in conclusion, if your computer doesn't work, the 100% guaranteed way to fix it is to buy all new parts until it does work. I suppose that would work but it is a bit expensive.

The fact that it died after you touched something on the USB seems to indicate a static discharge. In principle, that could have utterly fried some random component on the microscopic level. It's super hard to replicate, but that seems to be the only explanation consistent with your experience.

hahahahahah...".I figured it after replacing every single item ....more like you built it a new computer...

Love this video, it's exactly what's happened to my PC no posting, but I haven't found the cause yet. Really good to have someone else to watch who's done this, and gives me some great hints as to what may fix this.

A good clear demo of finding out why a pc will not go and have fun while doing it. Thanks RVV.

I watched it until the end. I'm having the same issue with my PC, I thought it's dead. But now I have hope! Thanks so much!

It’s a blessing in disguise. You got all the parts you actually wanted before and even newer RGB parts, haha. My brother’s build is currently in some kind of similar situation as yours where windows won’t even boot up. He mentioned couple of nights ago his comp won’t turn on. I’ll relay video to him to have him run down your troubleshoot steps :) glad everything is up and running again though!

What an awesome video Ricky!
Im happy to see, that you found the cause of your problem.
The only sad part is that you had to buy a half new pc :/ but now you are helping others who can't figure out the problem so thank you in advance for that ;)

ill surely support your channel with a dumps-up!

Keep up the awesome work my man!

Cheers from belgium!

The problem was the CMOS battery in the motherboard

GUYS if this didn’t work with you cause he forgot the most important thing and he doesn’t even know it. Let me tell you what it is. Unplug your GPU take the battery out ( THE SMALL ONE) and hold on the turn on button while your power is off and the power cable is out. Put the battery in and turn on your pc without the GPU put the HDMI cable or whatever you use in your motherboard and turn your PC on and then go to your bios and put the things in your default settings and then turn off the PC and hook up everything the GPU and the cable in it and turn your PC on. Easy is that. Gosh it took me so long to figure it out and I got sad so I know how you feel. Hopefully this helps luv ❤️

Thanks for the video, this has confirmed my suspicions about my PC. I have the same issue PC turns on motherboard lights up, all fans spinning CPU, case fans, GPU etc. but motherboard won't POST. The memory check LED is also illuminated which according to manual indicates a memory issue however pressing the button 3 seconds is supposed to cause the light to blink but it doesn't respond. The CMOS clear and reset button on the motherboard don't respond either. I've reseated the GPU, tried a brand new GPU, swapped the memory sticks in different slots, tried 1 memory stick and no memory sticks, it still won't POST. I can only conclude, that like yours, my motherboard has gone to the silicon place in the sky - RIP! My cat threw up into the PC through the top mounted fan - yeah that actually happened, and it looks like they've fried the motherboard.
Get a cat they said, it'll be fun they said 😂😱😭

I am facing the same exact problem. I too tried everything you said at the beginning of the video, and deduced that it was my motherboard. This video saved me the trouble of replacing every single part😂. Thank you

Thank you man, I had the same problem, just bought a new motherboard and cpu cooler today with some extra thermal compound on Amazon. I thought at first it was my ram but it was actually just the motherboard the whole time. You definitely earned a new subscriber and I’ll be sure to leave an edit after my package ships here tomorrow of my pc working again! Cya then.

Edit: can confirm it was the motherboard, best video on YouTube for this issue!

Glad you found your problem! Im having the exact same issue, thought it was the Motherboard, too. Bought a brand new one, still same problem. I want to cry cause with my luck its probably my GPU I was waiting 6 months to get my hands on.

So basically you bought a brand new computer and realized that was the issue, you just needed a new pc lol
