One of the very few times Steve broke character. And for good reason. Saddest moment on the office.

That wasn't Michael reacting, that was Steve😢😢

The fact that Angela is smiling and Stanley laughed at "I watch you when you sleep" really shows that this was actually the actors saying goodbye to Steve Carell. That and the fact that he didn't know about it before filming

Cast saying cute things

Creed, “I watch you when you sleep”.

The office was never the same without Michael being there

In this moment, creed bratton wasn’t creed bratton. He was creed bratton

Ryan actually acknowledged Michael's role in his life.

“I forgive you for kissing me” that was improv so it’s literal

The fact that the cast surprised Steve Carell with this song makes the moment even better

When creed said “see you tomorrow boss” for the last time, I cried

The only thing I dislike about this song is that Dwight is not here

These weren't the characters saying goodbye...this was the cast saying goodbye. Which is why Rainn Wilson should've been there.

I like that Ryan publicly thanked Michael for helping him get off drugs. One of the rare post-S3 moments where he wasn't wasn't worst

Fun fact: He didn’t know they were going to sing this

Steve Carell (Michael Scott) actually did not know that the cast was going to sing this, it was a total surprise. This was the cast of the office saying goodbye to Steve. Always makes me cryyy

Fun Fact: Steve Carrol’s reaction was legitimate. He thought Andy was going to say or do something else, and he was completely surprised by the whole song. He had no idea.

Fun fact- the script that Steve got didn't include the song, it ended with Andy giving him the award. Everything you see on Steve's face is his genuine reaction. If you watch all of the actors, you can see their genuine reactions to Steve leaving. Simultaneously heartbreaking and beautiful.

Michael didn’t call, but he returned for his best friend’s wedding. That’s worth more than 9, 986, 000 calls.
