This PPP only makes you happy but this works only on what you spend and that's 50-70% of your salary.. the difference is when in india saving remains same but for an NRI he can save and invest in india on exchange rate price.. not on PPP

Question:- GDP in terms of purchasing power parity of India is higher than that of Japan because goods are cheaper in India but why USA is above than India ... When we know that USA is expansive than India ... For example to get 1 dogen of eggs in US we have to spend 4$ and in India we spend only 0.92 dollars ... Can anyone explain how come USA is above India in terms of GDP ppp and how goods are cheap in USA ... Please

Comparing packages in 2 countries through perspective of purchase of parity would matter only if the individual decides to stay in that same country permanent and not temporary. Eg: An Indian citizen with 25 lakh rupees, if goes in US, he will find very hard to meet his basic needs with Rs 25 lakh money. Whereas, a person in US with Dollar 1 lakh in his account can better manage his lifestyle as per his country PPP. And when this US person decides to settle in India with dollar 1 lakh in his account, he can have even more better life style.

All matters is You earn, save and accumulate money in country with more income for some X yrs and then return back to live in your own native country with high PPP.
