I convinced my wife that the ZX14R is a sport touring dad bike. 🤷🏼‍♂️

None of these bikes will ever replace my 22 year old Honda Super Blackbird! Absolutely the best Sport Tourer there is IMO! My wife is completely satisfied with her Yamaha FJ09 and will not replace it. We also have dual sport and ADV bikes from Honda and KTM, but our top choices for road trips are our CBR and FJ’s.

Kawasaki has 4 great sport touring options, each takes you in different directions and power levels. Ninja 1000sx, VerSys 1000, Concourse 14, and the H2sx.

I got the Guzzi as my daily commuter and that sleek stallion leaves a permanent grin every second I’m on it

I had a Kawi Concours 14 for several years. Rode it from Nellis Air Force Base (Las Vegas) to Vandenberg AFB (Lompoc CA) twice a year when I was a Weapons School Instructor. Great on the highway, but around town it seemed top heavy and really didn't like slow speed maneuvering. Traded it in on a Suzuki Gixxer 750, my favorite bike ever. Now I ride a Triumph Street Triple RS. A very good bike, but I still miss my Gixxer.

37yr old Dad of 3 and I went Sport Heritage instead of Touring. I saw the new rendition of the XSR900 and instantly fell in love! Maybe my next bike will be a touring style.

The ktm demo modes is bs. The modes are already installed on the bike that the buyer purchased. Why put it behind a pay wall. KTM was one of my favorite brands. But I won't support that.

Interesting to see the Ducati Supersport appear in the list. As a 6ft person in my mid 50's. it was amazing to me how comfortable the bike is completely stock. Did a fly/ride for the 939 version last year. 1200 miles in 2 days and I could still stand upright at the end of the day.

Glad my SuperSport 950 gets a mention. Bit of a misfit maybe in that it really doesn’t look like a touring bike, and doesn’t have cruise control. But the looks are what sold me on it. The ergos are good too though. And it’s pretty light and agile. So it checks a lot of boxes. I think it’s a keeper.

I never managed to procreate(that I know of), but I did just go for a nice sporty 950 mile loop last week that earned me a performance award for 84 in a 60, and a car wheel weight penetrating my rear tire ten miles from home!
