You would think if the sprag in the converter was broken, the converter would overheat. It didn't. It never got over 208F measure right through the holes in the flexplate on the converter itself with the dustcover removed. Also, unlike a broken sprag, the lack of power doesn't tend to get better as road speed increases. The faster I go, the worse it seems to get.
