Not that anyone cares about my opinion, but I’m a gay man and I don’t understand why people care so much about pronouns and sexual orientations. It’s like if someone unintentionally mispronounces your name. You don’t get mad and start a whole fight about it, you simply (and politely) correct them and move on. When someone will *intentionally* mispronounce your name, that’s when people get mad. It’s the same with pronouns. If you get misgendered unintentionally, politely correct them and move on. If you get intentionally misgendered, speak out about it.

I’m poor. I’m 16, I pay the bills, take care of my mom and grandmother, and go to school every day. I work hard and get all As. I go to an art school. A lot of kids at my school are like this. I will always respect you, and to be safe, I always use they/them prns before I know what their prns are. Ppl will get mad when I use they/them. Ppl will get mad when I use what they look like. This is the world we live in. You don’t have to like someone’s decision, guys, but you should always respect it even if you don’t agree.
