Journaling Techniques that changed my life (2022)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's 5 main journaling techniques for how to journal that we discuss in this video:

1.) Imagineering (hypnotic writing journal) - this is when you write in the present tense about what you want, as if you already have it. in the book "Think and Grow Rich" they refer to is as hypnotic writing and auto-suggestion. from the book "Think and Grow Rich" it was the first time i heard of hypnotic journal writing - previously, i only thought about journals as a place where you take notes or write down some of your thoughts. I find "Imagineering" to be one of the most powerful techniques to start to change the story you tell yourself mentally. all you do is write about everything you want, but do it ONLY in the present tense. i also suggest you download my free success hypnosis and let it play quietly as you journal.

2.) Gratitude Journaling - this is where you write about the things you're thankful for. it seems so simple but it's probably the most powerful journal technique to quickly raise your vibration. the easiest way to do this is to listen to my free success hypnosis and numerically list out 10+ things you're grateful for. they can be simple things, like being grateful for health, clean water, your family, your job, your money. the point of this journal technique is to change the way you feel, so you're more grateful.

3.) Problem Solution Journaling - this is a great one to help you. simple write out your challenges or problems, and then write out all the solutions to the challenge. when you ask you always receive. so write down whatever challenges or problems you're facing, and then your higher self will give you very clear answers. write all the solutions down, and then circle the best ones for you to focus on right away.

4.) Self Letter Journaling - how to journal for confidence and self esteem? that's what this is about. simply write yourself a very authentic and powerful letter. begin with a letter to yourself. write about what you're proud of. acknowledge yourself. pretend you're getting a letter from a close friend, and write it to yourself.

5.) Brain-Dump Journal - this is where you just get everything out of your head. when people think of how to journal, they normally think of this. this is just you writing out an account of everything happening in your life and in your mind. this is a great way to get the thoughts out of your head and begin to quiet your mind.

I hope you enjoy today's video on how to journal. journaling can seem like an odd thing, because we never did it growing up. for me as an athlete, i always thought it was too artsy. as an athletic young man, i had no interest in it. when i got introduced to how to journal and i began to use these journal techniques it changed my life. i hope you enjoying journaling in 2022 with these techniques.

After spine injury, for few years I was able to walk about 4 hours, and 20 h I was lying in bed in one position, can't even reading a book. When my hands were able to take pen, I was writing and writing- and it was unable to read but in that way I create better reality for myself. It is huge thing.

I'm grateful to be sober for over 5 years and 9 months. Most people don't need to be sober, but I had a bad addiction. Good to be free

I'm ready! I am grateful to be incarnated on earth at such an amazing time❤️✨. I'm not hitting on you, your eyes remind me of a dear friend of mine who left earth in a tragic way at 15. He went by the name of Henny Penny (Mike) and was hit by a train. He and I were very close, seeing your eyes reflect his soul healed me from the pain I had felt for not being there to protect him. I am grateful for your beautiful soul and glad you are doing so well. Love and light to you and your family my friend ✨❤️🤗

Hi Jake. I completely agree. “Journaling “ works! I’ve actually manifested things in my life from journaling. The thing (since I’m getting older) my hands cramp a lot. Especially when I write a lot. I actually love journaling, but “ journaling “ doesn’t love me. Lol 😂 I’m going to see if there’s stretches or massages that I can do to help with the cramping. Thanks for all you do for us Jake! I really do appreciate you, Ashley and your little girl so very much!

I'm 70 years young and have been journaling ever since my grandmother gave me a diary and pen for my birthday when I was 8 years old. I really like your spin on " hypnotic journaling in #1. I can't wait to try it using your success meditation. Am looking to create BIG changes over the next couple of years so I am firing up all 8 cylinders and covering all my bases! Thank you so much--keep those suggestions coming!

I am very fortunate to have found you my dear little brother. So much "proof is in the pudding" in you REAL TIME life. Like the bamboo tree, yours is shooting up thru the very fertile soil of fertilizing and storing nutrients for five years and each year it's growing. I'm so glad you hit on that "entitled" about money thing. That's really like the opposite of feeling so glad it's there like so many times in life we have. The love is coming FIRST from you and the photons are trailing behind you following ❤️ so many coaches and you are one of them I'm my life and you mentioned two at least that I admire and glean from. Thank you. I'm so glad I can visually see all the wonderful creative works in this gorgeous Earth and views up above whether night or day.

Yes, Jake! In the words of a once famous magazine that may or may not still exist, this is "news I can use." So I'm grateful for the synchronicity that brought this video across my attention path. These techniques show me that my journal can involve a whole lot more than the recounting of daily events, which is most of what it currently consists of. I'm enchanted even by the title of the first technique-- "Imagineering." It has a bit of a Disneyesque quality to it. Also, I appreciated the Jim Rohn part where mention is made of things that are easy to do and easy not to do-- I first encountered this notion in a book called "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olsen. And the "stream of consciousness/ brain dump technique was also crucial. That's how Jack Kerouac wrote "On The Road"-- no doubt a lot of other books were written that way.🤔🧐💖😲🤯
