My dietician told me to eat 45 grams of carbs along with 3 meals and 2 snacks. Too much food I told her. Following some of her advice I watched my sugar levels climb to 250 post prandial. So glad I found keto.

In February I had so much pain in my feet, ankles, and knees I could barely walk. I knew I had sensitivity to wheat proteins so I cut out all wheat and within a couple of weeks the pain had severely lessened. I then decided to jump right into carnivore because I have never liked vegetables anyway so I cut out everything that wasn't animal based. By the end of March, I was pain-free. I then went strict carnivore with the BBB&E and have gone from 251lbs to 210lbs. For perspective, I'm only 5' 7". In the last 3 weeks, I have started intermittent fasting. I try to only eat between 10:00 and 16:00. I feel so much better, my blood pressure is down to the point I'm discussing getting off the Metropolol I've been on for years with my doctor. I found Dr. Berry's videos after I had started my original carnivore and learned so much more about the benefits of this diet beyond just weight loss. Thank you Dr. for being willing to admit that the medical and dietary professions aren't always right.

Thank You Dr Berry.. I have lost 18 pounds in 11 weeks following Keto and Intermittent fasting. I am 53 yrs old, in menopause after having a total hysterectomy, have no thyroid (because of cancer yrs ago), and I only walk for exercise. I was pre-diabetic and
pre-hypertensive..but I go in the spring for a physical so I am excited to see my numbers. I am down to 176 now, I have not been that weight in 14 years! Next goal is 168! I eat lunch at about 12 noon and dinner about 630, because it is easiest for my work and family schedule, it really fits my life. So very grateful to you for all this wonderful information..bless you Sir.

The more I listen to you the more I love and respect you. I've been doing the keto for a while now. I'm not losing a large amount of weight but I'm okay with that. Im losing slow and in the right places. My belly used to be hard like a drum but now it's like dough. I know that might sound bad but it's not. I feel like I'm losing the inner fat around my liver and other organs. It would be nice to drop weight a little faster but in time it will be gone and stay gone. Intermittent fast is the key to helping the body repair damage. I've never been a junk food junkie but I ate around the clock. That was my main issue, not giving my body time to clean house. Thank you for being a true doctor and first doing no harm .

I've lost 42 lbs so far I'm working on another 60. I don't miss sodas or pasta etc.. I tell people that, Sugar is the Devil, lol!
I also tell them that it isn't What I Eat, it's What I DON'T Eat.

Finally I am loosing weight....I am 40 now and have tried weight watchers, Jenny, etc...NEVER lost weight....Then I came across Keto...Finally weight started to come off...BUT I added Intermittent fasting, weight loss BUT NOW Only and 1/2 an avocado when I just feel I want one! And I am rapidly loosing PRaise be to GOD!!! I feel so much better, and I could litterally fast and feel great, No more getting lightheaded or sugar spikes from carbs. I no longer live to eat....I eat to live...Only!!!

My doctor has been so out of patience with me. Once she told me to try 6 meals a day. A while back she told me to join Weight Watchers. I've finally made real progress in 2 months on the diet you're advocating. When I see my doctor next, she's going to be shocked and amazed.

eating the american diet is like foraging in the wild in the fall, just before famine. its sugary and it tells the body to put on weight for the upcoming season of famine. so sad that i didnt learn this 30 years ago :(

I am going to start the Keto lifestyle NOW...lol. well, today. I have thrown out and given away the poison in my cupboards. I want to be an example to others as well as a happier/healthier person. I have a brother who was diagnosed with Diabetes and still eats all of the wrong things. His favorite food is anything handed out at the second window of the drive thru. I need to loose at least 50 lbs. and I am excited to start this journey. I want to thank you for showing me how I have abused my body for years, suffered depression/anxiety, been on meds and ate my way thru my dark times. Well, I think those times are over. You make this seem so do-able and simple. You use language that I can understand. Lots of other videos use words I didn't understand and made it sound daunting. Thank you for using the K.I.S.S method (Keep It Simple, Stupid). I appreciate you.

I'm 54 years old and I just started a Keto diet this week. I have virtually eliminated all carbs from my diet. I have increased my healthy fats with Olive and Coconut oil. As a result I have seen my weight drop by 3 lbs this week alone. I'm also doing resistance training and have seen my waist go from 46 to 44 inches in the past 2 weeks. But the biggest thing I have seen is that my appetite has changed. Now when lunch or dinner come around, I'm not starving and it only takes a little to satisfy me. I feel stronger, have more energy and the only negative thing that I have encountered is a little keto flu but a keeping my electrolytes up with a little lemon in water manages that well. I think the biggest negative (or positive) that I may find is that now I have to buy all new clothes lol .. Thanks for your videos and thanks for all that you do to keep us healthy

I tell everyone, my Doctor is Dr. Berry from Nashville when they ask me how I’m losing weight, then I tell them and write down his name and tell them to find him on YouTube, in West Virginia we really have a problem with obesity! Dr Berry I can't thank you enough I said listen to you 2 to 3 hours a night and so far I've been on a journey 159 days today and I have dropped 72 lb just by paying attention to the truth it seems like no one can take the truth when I tell someone I fast for 25 or 39 hours they go oh my God aren't you hungry I tell him know I worked up to it just like I was taught I just can't thank you enough for changing my life my son turned me on to you and while he looks like you could have been your twin I just turned 60 and hit 200 on my birthday the other day now I'm down to 193 you might not know if you have an extra friend out there.

Ken it is so frustrating that all these health organizations keep giving the advice that they give. I just don't understand it. When I first heard of the keto diet I thought it sounded crazy but I started looking into it and realized everything I had been told was wrong. The low fat diet that I've been told to follow my whole life was wrong. Everything I've been told about saturated fat was wrong. Everything I've been told about cholesterol was wrong. Most people will never end up looking into things. As long as the health organizations continue to say what they say the public will never be informed. And I will continue to argue with people who tell me that all this saturated fat I'm eating is going to clog my arteries. That all this cholesterol I eat is going to lead to heart disease. And I get so passionate about it I can't help but argue with everyone. When are the nutritional guidelines going to change? When are all these health organizations going to stop telling people to get most of their calories from grains? How long before these health organizations finally admit that what they've been saying all this time was completely wrong??
