Fun fact: Emma Watson felt embarrassed hugging in front of everyone staring at her so she took a running start at Dan and then Rupert felt awkward too. So they shook hands instead and the Directors just let it go as the scene was still somewhat in character because (In the books and maybe one or two times in the movies) Ron kept calling her a know it all along with some students and teachers.
