The entire staff supporting Peeves after Fred and George asked him to make Umbridge's life absolutely horrible as a good bye gift was PERFECTION

For context, Umbridge was headmaster at this point and McGonagall was tired of her so when she saw Peeves trying to unscrew a chandelier she decided to help cause mayhem.

the best part about this book is still that peeves saluted fred and george when they told peeves to give her (umbridge) hell.... and then a giant prank war erupted against umbridge to fill the void the twins left behind, with even the teachers helping

I also love Flitwick refusing to remove Fred and George's Portable Swamp, and putting it on display when Umbridge leaves.

One of her most underrated and shocking moments in the books. The woman hell bent of following the rules and having dignity assisting in the production of absolute chaos was brilliant.

My favorite McGonagall moment in the books is in the final battle when she's enchanted a herd of school desks to fight and bursts out a classroom door shouting CHARGE and jumping into the fray. It's such a small glimpse but it epitomizes so much of her character.

That scene filled me with joy even I first read it. The idea of the whole castle covertly organising a coup through pranks 😂❤. The students setting booby traps and the teaches miraculously losing the ability to deal with the mess without Umbridge’s help…

I also love the scene where the Weasley twins set off a bunch of their fireworks and when some managed to get into McGonagall's classroom she just asked a student to fetch Umbridge instead of dealing with it herself

Can u do one about how different book uniforms were to movie ones? Book was hats and cloaks all the time but movie they wore ties and vests and muggle clothes. Like in the books Ron didn’t even know what muggle clothes looked like.
