🤰🏼Eating for fertility is about so much more than just eating more calories. We need to address things like nutrient timing, macronutrient balance, proper digestion, supplements, and your relationship with food.
Recovering from Hypothalamic Amenorrhea looks a little different for everyone so step 1 is taking a look at what you’re doing now and finding the gaps in your recovery plan (example 👇🏼 )
My client Natasha was CERTAIN she was eating enough for period recovery. She had gained weight, was eating every 3 hours, and was eating more than 2500 calories consistently ✅
What could she possibly be doing wrong? 🤷🏽♀️
📖 We began reviewing her food journals and it became apparent pretty quickly that while the calories were there, the macronutrient balance was off. She was eating wayyy too many veggies, too low fat, and not nearly enough carbs to support ovulation
Beyond that, Natasha had a lot of unaddressed food rules and fears around her body changing that was holding her back from nourishing her body well and feeling fully free around food.
We also discussed her relationship with exercise and made some modifications to not overtax her already stressed body and busy routine as a mom of 2.
✨ Within 1 month of making target changes and getting support from the Food Freedom Fertility team, Natasha welcomed her first recovery period! 🥳
By staying consistent with the FFF method, she was able to confirm ovulation on the next cycle and has the confidence she will get pregnant naturally with baby number 3 this year!
