I am infact a bassist my friends and brother think bass is usless so i isolate their favorite songs and get rid of the bass and now they respect all bassists except my brother.

Also for the most part and for most music, bassists need to be good at certain things guitar players can get away with. Lots of guitar players can get away with not having a great groove, sense of time and locking in with the drummer, they can go off course a bit. But if the bassist is a total mess, the whole band is off.

Someone who is advanced at bass, guitar, and the drums, and have been playing for 15 years. I can say bass is most definitely the easiest of the 3.
