I can understand a "craft " hoarder because I do crafts and everything I have that isn't put away is a "Work in progress" or a "Future project" or something I have just put aside for a while. My partner has made me tidy up and put things away and donate things, but I always end up with a little pile around my computer that never goes away. I know I am a bit of a hoarder. The type of hoarder I will never understand is "dirty hoarding", when someone can't even part with broken things or garbage.

There are so many homeless seniors people who need clothes.
Some are very, very low income, can't afford better coats, sweaters, purses etc. Maybe they could join a craft groups that do sewing, crocheting. Some the shopping is loneliness. By meeting people could become friends and call each other sometimes. Help others learn how to learn their skills.

as a crafter myself, I understand the desire to have a lt of supplies for different crafts. it is difficult. the supplies, esp fabrics, are only released once, so the FOMO feeling is strong.

I love this angle of a show like this! Seeing the people in the situation meeting others who are experiencing the same thing, Well done! I'd love to see more of those! Also love to see the empathy from the Divas with Nigel and how he was thankful and it all ended well with everyone. That's so much more motivating to see, especially for people that are experiencing these difficulties, maybe starting a bit on their own, seeking therapy or help with the decluttering process

Thank you, Nigel for your bravery and inspiration to those of us similar to you all over the world! It’s super tough especially when you have multiple hobbies I understand same here. However, I have recently learned that there is a difference between having ADD with OCD opposed to having a diagnosis of ““ hoarding disorder, please look into that because that’s what your house looks like to me. My mom hoarded papers, trash, clothing, fabric, yarn, and more. I do lots of crafts. I don't buy much because I know I'll only do a few things in a week, and I can

My mother in law left China as it become a Communist Country, after the Japanese invasion. She lost everything, and I'm sure had a lot of grief she didn't share. Her hoarding wasn't as bad as most of these people but she definitely hoarded. She didn't buy excessively so that helped. I found being in her flat to be nerve wracking I couldn't be there for long or I'd want to start drinking.

Very unfortunate to give lazy, unclean people a "name" for their "condition". It's nothing but laziness, and uncleanliness. Look at his toilet at the beginning of the video. What does a dirty toilet have to do with "hoarding"?
