Linux mint is also a great distro of linux. It is lighter and faster than ubuntu. I have used it for more than a year and now using parrot os.

Every other linux distro (e.g. ubuntu, elementary, zorin, kali) is a fork of these 3:
1. Debian
2. Fedora
3. Arch

Remember, a linux user interface face is not defined by default its actually its Desktop Environment that determines its look.

Some top Desktop Enviroments:
1. GNOME
2. KDE
3. Cinnamon
4. XFCE

Now choose the Desktop Environment and Distro from the above mentioned to get the best user experience, don't fall for forks such as Ubuntu, elementary, Pop Os as those are a derivative of the above mentioned ones.

1 tips for beginners Linux
Don't make disk partition like:
/Swap
/ (Root system file)
Make it like:
/Boot
/Swap
/ (Root system file)
/Home

Mostly people doing wrong partition.
Most important partition is /home because there stored user data 🫡

I tried all OS except the Endeavour OS. And one info, Linux is highly customisable. If you have a little bit of computer understanding, Then you can make it as you want. I made my old Ubuntu based laptop looks like a Mac OS Mojave and yes, It works really well even on old computers. Nobody can easily distinguish whether it's a Linux or mac os (Obviously from outside preview and a regular macos expert can easily understand the real macos and the Linux os but yeah your friends cant). And UBUNTU is really fast. You should give it a try at least on your old computers.

Endeavour OS is not cli based, it has XFCE Desktop environment. Linux can be heavy (Garuda ) and lightweight (Antix ). I am a dedicated Linux user and I guide people to use Linux and breaks Microsoft 's monopoly and aggressive policies with laptop manufacturers.

Sagar bhai you have great videos no doubt. Take this as a constructive criticism to this video. I think you should not suggest Arch based distros to beginners, especially the ones coming from windows. Arch being rolling release is more susceptible to system failures and issues, and beginners are gonna have a nightmare fixing them if they don't know what they are doing. Pls do some research while making such video, considering most people watching this would not be tech savvy. Linux and Windows are fundamentally different OS and most people would not know that. So they think that it's supposed to work just like windows (and trust me most people do) which is totally wrong and it will definitely disappoint them, leaving a bad impression. Many a times, you'll come across issues, which you'll have to fix yourself. Now don't get me wrong, there would be 1000s of tutorials, but a beginner would not be able to grasp the actual reason behind the issue, and as a result, most probably end up following the wrong tutorial and break their system, as they would be unaware of how linux actually works. All linux distros are not the same, things just work differently here and you should teach people these things first (desktop environments, package managers, base OS ..like Arch, Fedora and Debian, etc..). A beginner would learn this the hard way (i did) and i managed to go through that just because i wanted to learn about linux, and as a student, i had so much time to just wander around the internet and find a fix, but trust me when i say this..most people don't. They just want to do their work and move on with life. I want people to come to Linux, but I want them to know what to expect. I am saying this as a Linux user myself. I learned it the hard way, and I don't want other people to. This was my opinion, you could totally disagree with me and feel free to correct me. Nevertheless I appreciate your efforts and hope you think about this.

Using arch since age of 13 😂
Because of this I learned java script, rofi, bash script, building my kernal
Etc etc
The performance is 4x that of windows (7 to be exact)
