Hello, Ryan! This message is so important in my opinion (all your work is, of course!), because many professionals, psychologists for example, often explain behaviors using ”stoic” as synonym of either “cold hearted” or to describe someone that allows others to treat them poorly all the time. They couldn’t be more wrong.

what does one do when stuck thinking about the past?.... being aware and present is what keeps coming up, but it seems those thoughts still come no matter how much a person concentrates on being present. Your advice matters. Love you Ryan.

A concept from Plato that I love is that there’s a spectrum between all things. Like love-hate envy-admiring, and the idea is that we can transforms these knowing the spectrum, transmutate hate into love cuz it’s all the same in the end.
