This is a beautiful relaxation meditation for breast cancer recovery. It is fantastic for insomnia, pain management and relaxation when you may be feeling stressed or anxious. This video contains a simple Yoga Nidra guided meditation for all over body relaxation. Meditation is a powerful tool to use on your breast cancer journey. Meditation can boost the immune system, help with pain or discomfort, calm anxiety and help clear the mind. I hope you enjoy this simple technique, it is particularly helpful if you wake in the night and can’t go back to sleep. Ideally yoga Nidra is practiced lying down in shavasana; lying flat on your bed or on a yoga mat, arms slightly out from the body, palms turned to the ceiling in a gesture of surrender, legs slightly open, ankle just wider than hip width apart. Wriggle around a little and find a place that feels comfy to you. If you are just post surgery and still need to be elevated, or prefer to try this seated by all means go ahead.
