As an American citizen, I just have to say that we are so tired of war. I’ve heard people call us a war tribe. I know we have a value system based on defense, our constitution sates, “defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” I understand why other countries always ask for weapons from us, and I know Europe is our allies, but we always get labeled as war mongers. We are also being asked to support many asian countries against China. I want to support our allies, but if we are just viewed as war dogs by everyone, especially when they ask for our soldiers, it feels like we are just war dogs being used and then discarded. America is being put in the same position as WWII, fighting in Europe and Asia. If Russia and China truly are that dangerous than I guess we have no choice, but there has to be a better solution than another war. If there’s any way we can mend bridges with Russia and China, shouldn’t we at least try? Nuclear war is a huge threat after all.
