This case is so shocking. That Lori chose to kill or let her children be killed is shock number 1. Number 2 is that it was done so grotesquely and must have been unbearably scary for those children, being treated as Zombies and bound up as poor JJ was found 💔Beyond those shocking details, the ease with which it seems they killed human obstacles to their relationship is eye opening. Finally, Kaye and Larry could have and wanted to care for those kids. Lori and her vile husband could have gone off into the sunset together without killing anyone, albeit with divorce battles underway. To think they will use religion as an excuse for any of this is disgusting.

It’s so odd to me that grandparents aren’t considered victims even in the case law. A lot of people were outraged saying that Kay was excluded bc she’s considered a legal aunt, but she would’ve been excluded anyway, had the judge not created this loophole. I know that a lot of people dislike this judge but I keep getting this feeling that he’s going to really surprise us when this case gets to sentencing. I think we’ve seen that the judges that seem the most patient and considerate tend to have the harshest words when the time comes.

I place blame for those forms not being filled out one hundred percent on the prosecution! This IMO is just one more instance of them dropping the ball. Everyone knows how dedicated Kay and Larry are to this case and have been since day one. I have every confidence that had they been Informed they needed to fill out such forms they would have done so immediately

I’m glad about this. Seems like the prosecutor has dropped the ball on a lot of procedural stuff. Not filing this notice of victim status and also the issue that resulted the death penalty option being pulled.

Makes me nervous about this trial.
