If this GPU released with a 4060 pricetag, despite it's low Vram, it would have been a great buy.

4060Ti will be good upgrade for RTX 2060/2060S or RTX 1660 Super cards considering RTX 3070 price is more than RTX 4060 Ti and 40 series have excellent power efficiency and also has DLSS 3 + Frame generation support.
But it is not worth the upgrade for people with RTX 30 series cards

We all concentrate on fps, but i gotta say man, the more you keep an eye on those wattage draw, the more the 40 series impresses me. At RDR2 for example, 5 more fps on avg at 90W (!!) LESS power draw!! Thats actually quite impressive...

This is Nvidia's strategy to deceive consumers.
For those of you with older graphics cards (1050, 1060, 1660, or older GTX cards), it's almost time to upgrade your PC. What Nvidia is doing is forcing people who want to upgrade their graphics cards to buy crappy and more expensive 4000 series cards. Then, a few years later, it is clear that they will try to sell even the 5000 series graphics cards by pretending that there has been a 'remarkable performance improvement' to target the upgrade demand of people using the 2000 series and 3000 series graphics cards.
In fact, it wouldn't be surprising at all to see significant performance improvements in the 5000 series a few years from now.
This is because it is a performance improvement that should have been achieved to some extent in the 4000 series. People need to know about Nvidia's deceptive practices.
