How to Calculate Arc Length, Angle Measure and Other Circular Measurements

Circle math make your head spin 😵‍💫? Then steal this cheatsheet👇

The Construction Master Pro has a bunch of functions for circles. Some of them are secondary functions, so you need to push CONV before another button. Keep these tips handy:

✅ For arc length: Enter the length and dimension (inch, meter, etc.) and then push the [ARC] button.
✅ For angle measure: Enter the degree and push [ARC] to tell the calculator the central angle measure of the arc.
So, if you enter 75 [INCH] [ARC], the calculator reads that as the arc length. But if you enter 75 [ARC] it reads it as a degree.
✅ For radius: Enter the length and push [CONV] then [ARC].
✅ For diameter: Enter the length and push [CIRC].
✅ For segment rise: Enter the length and push [RISE].
✅ For chord length: Enter the length and push [RUN].

You only need to give the calculator two of the above inputs, and it will solve for the rest.

1️⃣ Enter the diameter and push [CIRC] (OR enter the radius and push [CONV] [ARC]).
2️⃣ Enter the height and push [HEIGHT].
3️⃣ Push [CONV] then [CIRC]. Keep pushing [CIRC] to toggle through surface areas and volumes for columns and cones.
