Inflation cannot be stopped or reversed It can only be controlled, it is necessary in a monetary base economy or a monetary base economy does not work. The prices you are paying are not going anywhere, they may be adjusted to market value, but they are going to continue to increase. The only way we can control inflation is by increasing interest rate which intern causes hardship and pulls money back out of the economy, which intern gives people less to spend decreasing demand. Inflation is controlled growth, if you do not control growth money becomes worthless.
