The video where Blake lively tells us to grab a friend and wear florals was just so disturbing!!! Girl if you want a Barbie moment so badly, then chose a movie with a lighter topic or related to more PG 13 audience!!! It is so weird.

Isolating the interviewer out of the conversation was giving high school mean girl.

The fact that any of her books got a movie is astonishing

I don’t trust Blake Lively and her team. After seeing how she’s promoting this movie…narcissist! I love how Justin is shedding light on DV in his interviews and not promoting other bs (like hair care line or nail polish).

nah that reporter has so much patience cause i would’ve stared at the camera with a “are these bitches serious” face😭

First off, Blake Lively should not have been casted for the role of Lily Bloom. Point Blank.

Lily Bloom is supposed to be about a 23 years old. Her falling victim to an abusive situation with a 30 year old neurosurgeon and not leaving would’ve been more believable if she was younger, had less money, less life experience. That’s why her still being in love with her high school sweet heart, Atlas, made sense in the first place. It had been more recent (6 years) since they had last seen each other. I am not saying that women in their thirties don’t experience DV, however, a 35 year old successful florist not leaving at the first sign of a red flag just feels questionable.

Additionally, I don’t know if Blake Lively had the emotional depth to be able to understand the gravity, nuance, and depth of domestic violence. Even in her and Coleen Hoover’s interviews about the movie, they have framed it like it’s a cute romcom to see with friends, and not the DV relationship that it is. She’s even talked about her quirky styling choices, but not about the actual point of the story.

On the other hand, Justin Baldoni, has often spoken up about toxic masculinity and holding the men in your life accountable for their wrongdoings at the hands of the patriarchy. Even in Justin’s interviews, he’s emphasized that Ryle, Lily’s abuser, is not a sympathetic character.

Additionally, having your husband (Ryan Reynolds) direct/write a scene in the movie is a MASSIVE overstep. this was not his project.

Lastly, the reason why “Barbenheimer” worked #1 is because it was FAN MADE on twitter. It was an ORGANIC internet moment. Barbie is a fun movie about womanhood, not DV.

But hey, I don’t know these people at the end of the day. 🤷🏿‍♀️

P.S. —> Yes, Blake Lively IS a nepo baby!!!!

I think Blake is trying to be her husband, he’s always trying to be funny and never serious. She comes across as tone deaf and oblivious to what she actually could have done for survivors of DV. This is a huge crash and burn.

I was pissed when Blake said “money doesn’t equate to happiness” in that weird interview with her costar. Like how could you say that lightheartedly while you and you husband’s combined network is around 350 million dollars? Has she even walked in poor neighborhoods once in her lifetime?

Justin owed the rights to this film almost 3 years before Blake was hired to cast and “co-produce”.
Even though it wasn’t her film, she stubbornly pushed her suggestions and opinions onto him, hired her A list, well known actor-husband to help influence change to the script, and took advantage of his desire for a woman’s perspective and used it all to gain more control.
Blake kept taking and taking, and when she didn’t get all that she wanted from Justin, she turned everyone against him so she can glorify abuse and DV and advertise her businesses.
Now this vague, sneaky smear campaign on this good man who made the movie happen, all because people are seeing right through her??
Years of fame, money, and die-hard fans turned her into a manipulative brat and it’s such a shame to see it.

Blake is trying to be Barbie and have a Barbie moment with this movie but it’s not it. Her and her husband r trying to replicate barbenheimer.
She’s wack for promoting her hair during it

The thing is Zendaya worked to get to where she is. She literally has been working since young to sustain her family. Blake comes from wealthy background. Blake "acting" is a most mid, nothing that stands out as true perfomance. On top of that, she going around telling people to 'wear their florals and bring your friends' for a movie that deals with Domestic Violence. Like super tone deaf and weird to say and think is appropriate to what It Ends with Us is about. Plus she is using this to promote her hair and drink brand... like wtf

Blake and some people are trying to make Justin look so bad but it won’t work. Justin consistently proves that he takes the high road despite Blake being IMO a plain right narcissist. Justin’s book Man Enough challenges the stereotypes on men today and he encourages emotionally intelligent men. His instagram bio provides help for domestic violence showing he’s trying to be sensitive about the content of the movie. Whereas Blake is out here being sarcastic and jokey about topics that she should care about as the main character. He even praises Blake despite her being openly spiteful towards him. You can say what u want but I think it proves his character somehow.

Blake had beef with all of her female co stars lol . Anna kenrik, blair ( gossip girl actresses) and one more i don't remember right now, shows who is the common denominator here . She seems like one of those fake nice girl's girl who is secretly envious and mean to her female friends while appearing nice to the public .

Personally I never understood the hype about Blake and her man 🤷🏽‍♀️, tbf more him . Also finding out they had their wedding on a plantation is mad . Like WTF, who thinks I want to get married where peoples ancestors were graped, muRdEred and literally owned for hundreds of years.🙄 I think it tells you a lot about them.

that "interview" at the end is so cringe! that poor interviewer!! it seems like Blake is literally trying to act like the interviewer is not there so she can have a "HiLaRiOuS" side coversation and pretend to be so quirky and unaware and casual and relatable... not like other actresses shes a cool actress because she just doesn't care... like she thinks or is pretending to think that the interviewer and audience would be so interested and happy to witness her "banter" with Posey but neither are being funny or interesting or relatable at all

You could tell the interviewer was eager to get out of there and possibly cry. I feel so bad for the woman.

It felt like they were interviewing each other and the lack of eye contact given to the interviewer pissed me off. Also, the marketing definitely made it seem like a romcom which i thought was weird.
