As a victim of DV, it was extremely well executed..I balled my eyes out because the flashbacks you have at your breaking point with the realization that all these incidents haven’t been accidents. It does happen, sometimes you don’t know how bad it is till your completely broken down.

I saw the movie and it does not glorify domestic violence! If anything it’s about breaking generation curses of abuse! It was a fantastic movie.💯

Based on Blake Lively's girls night out, wear your florals PR of this film...I had no idea it was about DV. Her promotion campaign was totally off. This man is a class act.

Saw it yesterday with my wife. The sister telling lily what she would do if she took him back hit deep. I grew up in a dv life, once i met my future wife, i really did my best to not continue that cycle i grew up in. Almost 20 years later, 2 daughters, im glad to say that cycle never poisoned our lives. Ps this movie was amazing.

I think what we are seeing is the Public’s reaction to how two individuals chose to handle the importance of a message. Justin has done a fantastic job of dealing with the importance of DV and the difficulty which many people face in leaving the situation. For the sequel, I would love for the studio to stand behind Justn. . The studio should probably look in a different direction for its lead actress. If Blake Lively is attached to the sequel, then I won’t be seeing that movie.

What a gem of a human being. His humility and empathy makes me want to go see the film even more.

As a survivor I felt hugged by the movie it was just enough for you to get the message

It's not romanticizing violence. It's just how some people cope with trauma until they are ready to see the truth.

BEST MOVIE, especially considering the topic. Very well played and Justin Baldoni not only acts the part perfectly, but directs beautifully. He knows how to tell the story correctly. This movie touched my heart incredibly!

If you saw the movie, the shots are gorgeous and it does maintain a serous somber tone. Unfortunately, the writing of Colleen Hoover is always laughable.

The way he talk and respond with so much calm and intelligence. I like this guy.

Seriously a one of a kind movie displaying the manipulative nature behind domestic violence, how childhood trauma creates wounds in men and if they don’t heal, in turn they cast and project that pain onto us

He was the star of this movie for sure. I enjoyed the backstory of Lily and Atlas, but he really showed his range

One of the most practical books I read about Domestic violence is Breaking free from an abusive relationship, your journey to freedom by Natalie Adams.
