8 Bear Encounters You Really Shouldn't Watch

Make sure to like and subscribe for more creepy animal encounter compilation videos!

Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one!

Credit to the owners of these clips:

In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from bear attacks, encounters and even charges. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in remote areas like a forest, national parks, alaska, russia and canada.

Encounters with black bears, brown bears and even kodiak bears are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are hiking, camping, mountain biking or even hunting.

It just turns out that some of them were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos.

Thankfully, many people on hikes carry bear spray, which prevents their bear encounter from turning into ''gone wrong'' viral moments.

Get ready, because these bear vs man moments that could easily be considered near death experiences are sure to give you the chills.

The one with the bear coming up the stairs and charging, with the last second closing of the door was a better jumpscare than most horror movies have.

That last one just showed how incredibly fast a bear can close the distance! Just pure anger, muscle, teeth and claws.

That bear up the stairs thing is literally what my phobia was as a child when going to the toilet in the middle of the night😂 and I live in Scotland where there hasn’t even been bears in hundreds of years

I was amazed that a man fed a wild bear.
''The man was russian''
Totally understandable.

I live in Montana, bear encounters are very common here. There have been attacks, but they’re not as common as you think, and they’re usually because it’s a mom with babies, they feel threatened, or they’re really hungry. Bears are scared of you. They aren’t gonna go after you with no reason. But if you sneak up on them whether on accident or on purpose, they’re gonna get scared and they’re gonna attack. The best thing if you’re in the wild and you see a bear is to make noise. Let the bear know you’re there. Yell, be loud. 90% of the time the bear will avoid you. We carry bear spray and bear bells. Bear bells are bells that you wear on your shoes so you make noise when you walk. Bear spray is essentially a really strong pepper spray. It’ll give you about 10 seconds to get out of there, and most of the time the bears gonna run away. Don’t ever run or scream. Running is gonna make the bear chase you. Screaming is gonna sound like a wounded animal and an easy target. Put your arms up in the air and SLOWLY back up. Do not turn your back to the bear. If the bear takes a step toward you stop. In a firm, deep voice (never screaming), yell at the bear. Doesn’t matter if you’re saying (hey bear go away) or some ancient war cry they don’t understand English lol it doesn’t matter. And don’t climb a tree. Bears can climb. Faster than you can. And when you inevitably have to come back out of the tree, with a bear after you, you’re gonna get hurt falling out of the tree. Be safe out there!

That last one would've had me literally shaking in my boots. No way I would've been able to get that shot off so quick. Just makes one realize that a gun really can't save you if you don't have the training and experience. The outdoorsman in the video obviously has both.

That last clip is real. The man firing is Braun Kopsack, a big game guide who is a legend in Alaska. He and I were best friends during high school in PA. The man is tough as nails and fearless, and absolutely amazed me at his willingness to tough it out, under any circumstance, to finish whatever he started out to do, without complaint. He's in his late 60's now, and though I haven't seen him in 45+ years, bet my life he's still as tough as ever

That was not "an accident"...
That was a *calculated ambush* planned by both the baby fox and the bear.

Phew. That last incident was terrifying. She moved incredibly fast. Had she not been scared, it would be near impossible for most people to make a succesful shot on target. So much adrenaline and stress. Dont even want to think about it

Watching a wild angry animal charges right at you is one of the most terrifying things.

The bears were lucky that the Russians weren’t hungry, or else they will be food

I can remember a fishing trip up north, we were in the fish house, it was basically a screened in kitchen and counter to clean your fish. It was getting dark, a bear came up and put his paws on the screen wanting our fish! My 3 year old daughter who is 40 years old now saw him and let out a blood curdling scream that alerted the entire camp, the bear took off running! It is legend that this bear is still running to this very day!!!

I’m so happy the other guy on that trail had the common sense to not run away from it, that clip could’ve ended very differently had the person been less informed.
