6 Bear Encounters You Don't Want To See

Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one!

Credit to the owners of these clips:

In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from bear attacks, encounters and even charges. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in remote areas like a forest, national parks, alaska, russia and canada.

We feature a clip where a hunter gets attacked by a black bear in Northern Ontario, a man has a black bear visit his porch, a woman gets bluff charged by a black bear, hunters bear spray 2 bears in the face, skiiers in romania get chased by a brown bear and tourists in Alaska get very close to a mother bear with her two cubs.

Encounters with black bears, brown bears and even kodiak bears are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are hiking, camping, mountain biking or even hunting.

It just turns out that some of them were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos.

Thankfully, many people on hikes carry bear spray, which prevents their bear encounter from turning into ''gone wrong'' viral moments.

Get ready, because these bear vs man moments that could easily be considered near death experiences are sure to give you the chills.

"Finally she decides to leave the predator alone and walk back to her house" - Yeh I'd get as far away from that weird lady too.. smart bear.

That poor sweet bear at# 4 was just chillin tryna eat and she comes up harassing it and it politely tells her to kick rocks, she is lucky she didn't meet #1.

if the woman in number 4 ended up getting killed, then she asked for it, the bear was peacefully enjoying acorns, why provoke the poor creature, has no one heard the saying "don't poke the bear"

Kodiak Karen: He’s just bluff charging!
Bear: She’s lucky I just ate.

Bears are so amazing. Dangerous, but yet magnificent.

The more I watched it, the more I wanted the bear to attack the bluff charge lady.

The last one was the most scary .. That was a HUGE mama bear along with her cubs. It's very well known female bears are extremely protective over their offspring.. I wonder what kept her so calm. She could've done some real horrible damage judging by her size.

The scariest part of this video was the level of stupidity coming from the lady literally provoking the bear into bluff charging her multiple times.

I feel responsible of dismissing what you presented about the Romanian "tourist". He is a ski instructor and he wasn't afraid at all. In that area bear encounters are happening on a daily basis. The guy just attracted the bear away from his group. He was unbelievable calm and knew exactly how to stop the bear. Please search for the whole video where you might also have translation. He was calling the bear "you silly" and always stopped when the bear was charging him and was too close. He used a calm voice, used he's poles and body gestures to stop the bear when it was too close. And he also used he's skills to ski backwards so he can face the bear when needed. On that day he avoided a possible tragedy as there were many people on the slope that can't handle a bear encounter.
The other video with that woman was quite risky...is good that she knows about bears behaviour, but you use that when they are approaching. Under no circumstances you get close to a bear like she did. And when the bear is eating...that's plain stupidity.

This bear once followed me all the way from Ontario to Quebec. It even got on the train and sat behind me. The ticket inspector finally kicked him out.

I recall the documentary about that dude who spent 15 summers or something in the Alaskan wilderness. He had absolutely no fear of them and would go right up to them sometimes and shoo them away. I recall him saying in the documentary "you have to show the bear who is boss". No! It's a freaking bear, he is boss! Eventually he got eaten by one.

As regards to the female in the second clip trying to show off her " expertise " bear deterrent, the outcome may not have been so great for her if the black bear bluff charge was a real and ripped her arm and leg and chewed on her head and neck for awhile.

Thanks for the red arrows and circles. I would've had a hard time spotting the bears without them.
(I do think it's funny).

I feel like #4, that's human encounters you should avoid. That bear was just, doing its job in the wild. She chased it away. Poor bear.

I had a bear outside mauling my bird feeder. I shouted to get rid of him, but he only moved a few feet and then sat down, waiting to get at the bird seed. I went back inside, took my speakers, opened the window and put on Sayer's "World Painted Blood." Never seen a bear run so fast in my life.

I was hiking in the Sierras when I turned a corner and saw a black bear staring at me 40 yards away. My blood ran cold. I kept going on the trail and praying he wouldn't follow. Didn't, but I was scared. Really scared.

Thank you for using those red arrows, without them I would never have been able to find the bears
