The premiere of the official release date trailer for Black Myth: Wukong took place at The Game Awards 2023. The trailer showcased PC-captured footage, including actual gameplay and in-game cinematics, while supporting 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos.

An interesting thing is that every previous trailer of Black Myth Wukong was released on August 20, and they finally decided to officially release the game on this day in 2024. In fact, August 20th is the birthday of the Wukong in Chinese folklore, and many people will worship the Fighting Victory Buddha (Wukong's dharma name) on this day.

The best showing at the game awards 2023 in my opinion. The monster designs are so amazing. I am eager to delve into Chinese mythology via a game. So realistic. Impressive use of lighting from UE5. Smooth animations. Detailed battle with impressive enemy movesets and battle designs. This is GOTY.

Been watching out for you guys for a while now I am so impressed with this project. I am a huge Dragon Ball fan and read all the manga volumes and looked into the story called a Journey to the West and the main character Sun Wukong. This single character has inspired so many anime and manga authors. I am so happy and excited to witness a video game all about the legend himself. His abilities are so amazing and they deserved a video game! I hope this will showcase everything he can do and what his story really meant in the book. In the story Sun was very cocky and kind of rude and I cant wait to see how he is portrayed in your game. I hope there will be a collector's edition! Congrats to your 2024 launch blessings to you and your families!!!
