Dame was being compassionate with Bianca. She lost a good portion of her hearing while he lost a huge chunk of time locked away. He was being hopeful to become champ quickly to make up for lost time.

Before watching the film, I thought damian was gonna be rude to Bianca and ruin the vibe but he was actually being so nice. I think it's because he sympathized with her. Damian was talented but had to give up his dream. Now he's too old to box. Even Adonis retired 3 years ago and his older than him but Damian couldn't accept the reality and move on like Bianca. That's why he stopped smiling after hearing that she quit singing 0:11

I wonder what became of Dame after this movie. Maybe he will be a trainer in part 4. He might help train Adonis in his next fight. or maybe the next movie might go 10 or 15 yrs to the future where he and Adonis are training Adonis's daughter. This 3rd Creed movie shows she wants to become a boxer like her father.
