Damian was a complex character and the antagonist of this specific storyline but not a bad guy. You root for him because who else wouldn’t do what he did in his shoes. Creed balanced out his darkness by beating him but ultimately still helped Damian get back on his feet which is what he really wanted in the end. Beautiful story writing.

Dame is far from being a perfect person. His ambition got him desperate, he did let success get into his head, but at the core he is still a good brother. He chose to forgive first. This whole time we keep asking the question who is more at fault? But at this point, it does not really matter. Like Dame said, they were just kids who did not know any better. Forgiveness is what gives closure

I honestly felt bad for Damien. Could honestly relate to his character. Adonis was so caught up in the glory he forgot his friends and where he came from. By far one of the best scenes in the whole Rocky franchise.

Dame's arc was incredible and natural.
It's believable he would hold resentment and jealously towards Adonis for living the life he could've lived himself. Instead, he rotted in jail for all those years alone. Then he realizes none of it was Adonis' fault. And even if it was, they were just kids and that's unfair to both of them to be judged so harshly.
