I know I’m middle aged because I’m at a point where the idea of a boring, super practical and efficient car that just makes my life easy is actually extremely appealing. My back and knees hurt too much for sports cars these days. But this thing looks awesome!

There is something all-around amazing about the Camry's perseverance all of these decades later. The fact that Toyota refreshes and upgrade it while maintaining the true core of it's existence is quite "boringly" impressive. 🙃

I just bought an XSE AWD 2 weeks ago, and to address a couple other comments here: I’m 6’2” and have no size issues at all, except in that “5th seat” in the rear.
There is no sunglasses holder when you opt for the panoramic roof (which I did). If you get a regular sunroof or no sunroof, there is a sunglasses holder.
FYI, I replaced a 2009 Acura TL and see no downsides with this Camry, except: no memory seats/mirrors with XSE, only with XLE. Go figure. Higher cost, less features.
My first hybrid and love how you can gamify your fuel efficiency with decent data and eco-feedback on your driving habits. No lie, I just went to my local CVS and back and got 64 mpg, by driving the low speed limit through town in Eco drive mode and using EV mode in the neighborhood and parking lots. (EV/all battery mode will automatically switch to gas when you hit 20 mph.)
No regrets after about 800 miles on this car. Like Lyn says, if you can, go for the wider displays and AWD. Also got emblem blackouts on this Heavy Metal color… looks sharp, as much as a Camry can be.
Lastly, as far as other minor beefs, the center console is huge, so I got a 3rd party console insert that fits like a glove and neatens up that big storage space; and the standard trunk light is so weak, they’ll sell you a LED one that is super bright… and there’s no pull handle to close the manual trunk. So, all in all, as close to perfect as you can expect.

The color-matched grille looks a lot better than the standard black grille. Fuel economy is insane, to boot. The average person should be buying this rather than a shitty CUV with significantly worse gas mileage.

I had my new 2996 Camry for 10 years with $150k miles. I was running around with kids. Then I bought a new 2006 which now has $125k miles. They have both served me well.

Love the new Camry. Gorgeous. This Blue is my favorite color in the new Camry and I would get the light color interior and XLE trim with that cozy plush patterned cloth on the doors and dash I love it. These really are great vehicles. My Grandma bought her 2003 Toyota Camry LE new with a few options back in 2003 and has had it 22 years now and it is still her daily driver with about 175, 000 miles on it lol. I wish she could get a new car but man it has lasted her.

Great Review! I have watched a lot of 2025 Camry reviews and I do not remember anyone addressing the stopping in 4th gear and requiring a manual downshift before taking off?? This is a “light up” comment about my 2011 Camry purchased new. 135, 000 miles with original brakes and regular oil changes and maintenance are making this car seem to last forever! I am very glad my kids replaced the standard radio and CD player with a Kenwood player with CarPlay for my multiple cross country trips! My 32 Hwy MPG may seem meager compared to this 2025 Camry, but with an 18 gallon tank, I can drive all day on one tank of gas! Might be the same range on the smaller gas tank and the higher MPG on this 2025? Seems like the 2024 gas Camry 2.5L advertised 39 MPG Hwy, so the upgrade to 2025 hybrid adds about 6 MPG on the AWD version.

As a 8th gen owner…When these first came out, I wasn’t a fan of the front end. But over time they’ve started to grow on me especially in certain colors. The only problem is the price…no way am I paying almost $40K for one

I appreciate your honesty. The cabin is much louder than reviewers have reported. They're going so far as to claim it's quiet. It's not.

Glad to see Mike Danger in the video. Why doesn’t KBB use him more? He’s great.

Would love to get a new car but my 2010 V6 Camry is holding strong with normal maintenance and known wear and tear parts. Toyotas last when taken care of.

That ocean gem color is more green in person. Just an observation.
