Definitely has a tach available. If you hold the right toggle on the steering buttons, you can select between two different displays, the standard has an analog speedometer, the 2nd display includes an analog tachometer. Helped my wife’s mom get an avenair trim. She loves it!

At around 7:30 min, while using manual shift, you're saying that you cannot see engine RPM... That's not true... You can use the right steering wheel control to change the cluster configuration and the gauge faces of the Envista. Gauge 2 will show the tachometer on the cluster !! 🙂

My wife bought one. We are very happy with it so far. Coming out of a GMC Acadia.
I was worried about the engine size, but power is fine for normal practical driving.

This was a well done review, I subscribed.

This is actually a good looking crossover. Now that I don't have a group of people /kids in my car everyday, this looks very attractive, especially for the price. And the top option still having a base price under 30k is crazy.

Definitely adding this to the one of the top spots on my list for test driving when I start looking for a car later this year!

Finally, a car review that makes me want to trade in my imaginary sports car for some real-world luxury and comfort

Was on my list but ended up going for the Mazda CX-30 Carbon Edition (Vs Avenir Trim). Standard AWD and an engine that is far less likely to have issues were hard to pass up for near the same price.

Why didn't you mention the lack of rear AC vents? 🤔 That's one of the most important things, especially for families during the summer. And if it's being marketed as a "Luxury" vehicle, then Buick should've included it.

The envista does have a tach . There two driver info screen choices and one of them includes a tach

There is a tachometer but in a different display. That's the one I use.

The Trax is objectively the better buy but I'll admit, this is a good looking car.

it’s not AWD? How is it in the snow? My equinox RS is horrible in the snow. You have a beautiful crossover

You know what is a great car to take to college? An old Lesabre. Can’t hurt that and they’re cheap now.

It’s a pretty decent looking ride! Isn’t it really luxurious? Nah not really and for a “sport” version it’s not really that quick from what I’ve been told, it’s just just a pretty spiffy looking ride at a price that is affordable looking ride to get you from point A to B. I’d think about leasing one to just get a feel of it, the thing I don’t really like is the monitors they just seem kinda dull and pretty low tech even for the stick price

It needs a rear window wiper to keep the sloping window clean in inclement weather.

The passenger seat should have power seats. Especially for a "premium " brand

Does the engine have a loud groaning sound?

All these people talking smack about the envista is hilarious. I bought one 2 months ago (white and black ST) OVER the Trax and the amount of comments I get on it and heads turned to try and figure out what kind of vehicle it is is worth the price alone. You get loads of features for an unbeatable price. I spent hours looking at hundreds of other vehicles and any of the ones I considered were $40k or more and there were no features on any vehicle worth spending an additional 10k or more

That Honda hrv is quite literally the exact opposite of attractive. There's no way you said that it was with a straight face.

A power liftgate is definitely nice to have, but I'd rather have all of the safety tech and skip that to hit a good price target, which is what this car is all about

Watts linkage? It has a solid rear axle?? And a lawnmower engine? Good Lord.
