To this day, I still drive the ONLY car I have ever owned - a 1990 LeSabre. Currently at 202, 540 miles. I held a little party for it when the car rolled over to 200k with some fellow car enthusiast friends of mine — complete with a custom cake and all! Love, love, love that thing. Hope to find another one someday.

As a divorced mom with young kids, I ended up with a 89' Buick Skylark Wagon.
It had big dent and 189, 000 miles on it when I recieved it, and drove it for 3 years, to 240, 000 miles.
Ugly, but handled like a dream, especially in snow and ice.

I used to be a GM guy. Active fuel management(cylinder deactivation) and auto start-stop, with no disabling button, moved me to Ford/Lincoln. My Lincoln engine runs on all cylinders and when I start the engine, I turn-off the auto start-stop feature using the touch screen. I don't have to purchase after-market products to accomplish either. GM ran me away as a customer several years ago. I used to like my Chevys, Pontiacs, and GMCs. They left me, I didn't leave them.

Buicks are beautiful cars, and with regular maintenance, they'll treat you well. My parents had a 03 LeSabre until about 8 months ago, and only traded it in because the rear struts were literally rusting off the car (they live in Connecticut, so the road salt corroded the strut mounts practically off). When they traded it in, that car boasted a whopping 217, 000+ miles, and they would have kept driving it had it not been for that issue. Nowadays, they have a 2014 and 2017 Buick LaCrosse, both of which have given them no issues. When it's time to replace my car, I'm hoping to get a Buick myself.

I love this guy. Such passion and personality in his profession. The whole channel is a blessing.

I never thought I would ever purchase a GM vehicle, but the Enclave has more passenger space, more cargo space, and more actual useable room behind the third row than any of the competition. It also has a dual-clutch AWD system that can send power to a single wheel if needed (which they stupidly got rid of starting in 2022), lots of tech and safety features, active suspension damping, is quiet, and has excellent power and handling.

It's been a great vehicle so far and has had zero issues.

My late Father-Law was a 50 year mechanic and he loved Buick. He had two 1965 & 1966 Buick Skylarks and they never broke down plus they were smooth riding and both had the famous Buick V6 that got 25MPG HWY.

Scotty! I just now learned your grandpa was a Buick guy! POURED out a double shot for him! my whole childhood was Buicks and Cadillacs, The Buicks had EVERYTHING that the Cadillacs had, BUT were CONSISTANTLY less problematic AND were thus some of the best LOVED and remembered cars! I have an Avalon now because it's essentially the "modern" equivalent of what a Buick WAS.

Very entertaining, manic, video Scotty! Got a riddle for you. I'm a retired motor mechanic. Was born about a quarter mile away from where Mr Buick was born! Worked in a garage about 100 yards away from where Mr Buick was born and used to, regularly, walk past the house he was born in. In my 50 years in the trade I never worked on a Buick! How can that possibly be?

My 1st car out of high school was a Buick Wagon & it was awesome. Rode like a dream & the 350 cu-in V8 was indestructible & yeah my girlfriend & I taught each other about the birds & bees on the mattress I installed in the back.

People complain about Buick not selling cars anymore, but all they did was go where the market was heading. Buick SUVs were outselling sedans. The original Encore ended up being Buick's best selling model for several years. I bought a preowned Encore GX and love it.

We bought a 17 Buick Envision for our daughter and she loves it! She came out of a Honda Accord which gave her no problems, and it saved her life when she was rear ended at a traffic light by a tow truck doing 45. I did talk her into all wheel drive, but that because we live in Tennessee and our driveway alone is at a 19 degree incline!

We've got one of these. It's a lovely vehicle. Currently about 130, 000 miles and no particular problems.
Our other car is a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer with about 220, 000 miles, also no particuar problems with it either. The enclave is AWD and the Trailblazer is 4WD.
I do my own maintenance, I always change the transmission fluid, differential lube, transfer case lube, anti-freeze, and brake fluid (flush) on a regular basis and I think most people ignore those items. (They would have a happier life if they didn't)

We have a 2012 Buick enclave. It is one of the best vehicles we have ever on with 150, 000 miles on it. Absolutely no problems. Rides quiet and very smooth. Hopefully the last another 50, 000.

Love my gently used pre-owned '17 Enclave over the any year GMC Acadia that I thought that I wanted. The cool colors and ambiant lighting is beautiful.

During my run selling cars, I had a LeSabre for my demo for a couple months. Magnificent ride and nothing but comfort. But the mere sight of standing next to a Buick then got you auto enrollment in the AARP demo.

I learned to drive in 1989 Buick park avenue. I absolutely loved that car. Ugly brown with a vinyl top. It had the opera lights on the sides along with a power antenna and a weird auto closing trunk - I used to get pissed when people slammed it. It had a “concert sound II” sound system - I had the cd adapter that you put in the cassette deck to play my disc man.

The 3800 engine was a so awesome. Not really a fast car, but it was reliable, the transmission shifted flawlessly, and it rode Ike an absolute dream. When I was 18 and me and my buddies wanted to go out we took “the old man” car and loved every minute of it.

My dad had Buicks from the 1950’s until he died in 2003. He bought his first and only new car in early 2003 - a brand new park Avenue - he was able to drive it once before he succumbed to cancer. My mom had that car for 18 years…. The only reason it didn’t last longer was due to the salt on the roads in the northern US…. Engine and transmission still shifted smooth.

Buick still holds a place in my heart as cheesy as that sounds.
