There is no excuse for these people to weigh that much other then eating anything and everything they see. The people who wait on them are their worst enemies. I have been overweight myself. I weighed 230 pounds and at five foot three I was huge. I was having problems walking or running so I decided I was going to stop over eating and exercise more. It was hard at first because my body was used to having anything and everything it wanted to eat. It took me five months of watching everything and anything I ate to lose 90 pounds. When I reached my weight goal of 130 pounds I felt like a new person. I no longer got tired just walking to the corner, I could actually run and exercise without feeling depressed or tired. I have been holding my weight steady for three years now and believe me I don’t regret doing everything I did and still do to stay at my present weight. These people are just lazy and expect everyone to do anything they ask. Unfortunately the people who wait on them are just as guilty. They are the ones who keep handing these very obese people everything and anything they ask for. If only those who wait on these obese people would put their foot down and say no perhaps these very obese people would lose the weight that keeps them from doing anything normal. It takes the people who wait on them to stop doing so before anyone will lose their obesity.

Just like all other addictions there is a reason for what is causing the person to do this. You have to work with them to get to the bottom of it before you can stop it and get them to stop eating. They are using food in most cases, as a comforting tool.
