I was having a leak in this exact spot, but before buying a replacement I inspected it and turned out a little pebble or bit of dirt had gotten under the little rubber gasket that moved up and down causing the leak. So a little rinse might be all that is needed

Injust took it out, filled it with pipedope and used flashing tape to hold it down today. Guess I'll go buy the kit in the morning. Ty.

We had some new plumbing done and had these installed for a hot and cold water taps .
They both leaked from day 1. We had the plumber back and they installed 2 new ones and they were a different brand and guess what? They both leak too.
Going to get them to come back and install 2 new ones but with no valve . Simpler and better.

My spigot leaked from day one and I assumed it was supposed to be like that. I thought it was some pressure release when you turned the spigot off. LOL.

My problem is the little, red rubber "donut" inside pops off every other use. Have replaced it and it still does it and leaks. Big pain in the butt to reset all the time. Any ideas?

Jay, I just turned on my hose for the first time this year. I noticed the sprayer was very low on water. When I came into the house, my floors were wet. Did some tests, when I place a hose to the spigot, it backs up. When no hose attached, the water flows normal. Will changing the vacuum breaker fix it?

Help after removing the cap, the inner valve is difficult to remove. Any suggestions. I tried WD 40. Didn’t help.
