As others experienced, spent a few hours on this poking around and looking for info and tips to no avail. We only need the AC units for a couple more months now as we are moving to a new house then with new units installed. Certainly didn’t want to spend a lot for that very reason. Ours are 25 year old Fujitsu air conditioners so they’ve certainly done their work- but just a little longer please! Thank you so much as the method worked as well on ours as newer ones such as in your video, I’d imagine.

Perfect, and the air compressor with an air gun attachment blew out the obstruction. Poured some bleach down it in case there was algae buildup. And now the filters are clean also! Excellent information and DIY project!!

Let me tell you, I had the shittiest day today and I truly believed I was about to sleep without an ac for weeks, I just took out the filters and HOLY SHIT the amount of dust that was on it was HORRIFYING rinced the filters off and now it's good as new! On mine, there was a giant collection of gooey gelatin-like muck. I used an old toothbrush to push it out of the internal unit's gutter, and then tested the flow of water from a cup as described in this video. Flows properly again ! Thanks for this video!
