Thank you so much for the video, very clear. I have a smart 453 2016, can you tell me if the process the same to program a new key (a4 chip transponder 433 mhz), can I use this same device for that or do i need a different AUTEL?

You mentioned that you had just replaced the ignition switch in the video, Was it new or used? if I install a used ignition switch with a functioning key, can I reprogram the car to this new (used) key?

Hi, and I love your videos! This one, however, confused me a lot. It appeared to me that the messages on your IM608 showed that the learning process never completed. Did I miss something? You kept tapping F3 but nothing changed on the screen until you got the "Function is not supported. ECU answer:[33]" message, then you tapped Esc to return to the "Program Transponder Codes" menu. Then you tapped on it, the IM608 went into "Establishing communications" mode, and you said (at 3:45 or so) "And we see that key is already programmed, so we're going to start it again." Then you cranked it and said "And we see have ignition." Then you exited the screen on the IM608 and said "I think the process, it's done, so this is how you program all keys lost for a 2008 Smart FourTwo." I presume the car started and the remote buttons worked, is that right? Yesterday, I used my IM508 to add a key to a 2014 Smart FourTwo. It was a much different process than the process you performed in this video. I could not do it until I connected the XP400 Pro and went into Expert mode. The XP400 was not used so I have no idea why Autel required it to be connected. Once I was in Expert mode, I added a key with no problems at all. Started right up and all the remote buttons worked. Have you ever run into a situation where your IM608 asked you to connect your XP400 Pro for something as simple as adding a key?

You say the key is used & make sure it is unlocked as it locks to vehicle, so how did you unlock it ?

My friend i have a smart fortwo in a few minutes. It is all keys lost. How did u get the cuts to cut the key? I dont have the lishi Va6 so i was thinking about removing and disassembling the lock to read the wafers but my friend told me it is tpo hard and is going to take me forever and im even taking a chance to mess it up
