For future people ... don't get overly happy and kill the ign. hit the lock button on the first, hit the lock on the second THEN you can get all happy and kill the ign and turn it back on(as the video) and both should work.

You are also right because it work for mine all you got to do is turn it 8 times and it will program it but if you want to program both of them at the same time you have to do both of the remotes at the same time so that means you can have them laying on the seat and after you do it 8 times you hit both of them on the lock and the unlock thank you

Thank You Thank You Thank You it just worked for me too today it happened to me and called Insurance to have the help get into car that had locked keys in the car for 5hrs. I had an old one from the Manufacturer that never worked thought was broke son put a new battery and it showed red light so we knew something else was wrong. And we did what you did and now it unlocks.... Whoo hoo ;)

I'm not sure how, but I got my on/off beeper working again. I think I mainly did it by pushing the alarm on and off button at the same time. Hope this works for someone else. I'm kind of anal about my alarm because I don't lock my doors and they don't lock automatically when the system is alarmed. Instead I rely on the flashing blue light on the dash to warn others that the alarm is on. If the door is opened when the system is on the alarm is very loud. The alarm guy who installed the system said that some people just buy the flashing blue light which is enough to keep the bad guys away at night. So far, I've never had a theft from my vehicle. I also don't leave valuable stuff on display on the seats for others to see.

I also have an aftermarket fob. MY car is a Chevy spark 2005. Do I follow the same principle? The new after market fob has only one button same as my old one
