How to program chip key & 2 FOB remotes for Ford

Thank you so much, I happen to be from Tampa. You made it look easy and it was. I have to open up my key fob to remove the blank key, so it would fit into the machine at the key shop, if I wasn’t able to take the key fob apart it wouldn’t have worked. Your video was so simple and I didn’t without having to watch the video a second time. Thank again! Keep posting video, you never know when someone could use the help. I hope my like and comment helps you as much as your video helped me. I paid $16 for a key fob I liked on eBay, had a key shop cut it and I went to the truck to program it. My truck is a 2007 F-150. It worked for me!

Worked great. Just remember that while programming the new key, you’ll also have to reprogram the old keys if you still want them to work. I did three at once

Just saw your video and was able to program several FOB remotes for my 2010 Ford Fusion. Your video was on point and very easy to follow. Much appreciated and thanks for saving me SOME money.

07 Fusion SE FOB programming: Needs 1 extra step before everything and there are some differences from the video.

1. Unlock all doors! (I had a 2 minute twist-a-thon with the key doing 4, 5 and 8 and nothing happened until I unlocked the doors.)
2. Follow the steps as pointed in the video for the fob programming.
3. The car won't CHIME, instead it cycles the locks from Locked to Unlocked (and explains why it would not work until the doors were unlocked at the start).
4. Each FOB (minus integrated ones with the key added at the start of the video) will cause a cycle of the locks from Locked to Unlocked instead of a CHIME, still means it's programmed.

If you try to add the fob part of an integrated key, your horn will sound for each button, so if you hate your neighbors, go ahead and have fun with all the buttons on that key!

Thanks for the video, a whole week without a working fob (the plastic ring on it broke totally), really hated not having it, almost always using the back door these days.

great video, went to Ford they programed the key but didn't set the fob. your video made it easy to follow and to set the fob on the new cut key. the tech at ford didn't know what they were doing I was at the dealership for over an 3 hours and they sent me on my way with the key fob not working. they also stated it was not compatible with the computer. lol

Excellent Instructions. To program the remotes, I needed to make sure my doors were unlocked first before turning the key 8 times in the ignition.

Worked perfect on my 04 f150. thanks. I had bought a spare and fob on amazon for like 10 bucks. My local ford dealer cut the key no charge. My main key was used so much it wore down and barely worked anymore.. but it worked one more time to do this sequence and get the new one working.

All you need is the Master Key. Take it to Lowes. They copy key & chip and it is programmed matching the Master Key. Works!  I know this because my sister loaned me her 2005 Ford Freestar for the weekend--while she is out of town. I was told she only had one key. I thought it would be a nice gesture to get her a second key made. And Lowes hooked me up IN MINUTES using their Replicator machine.  Both keys work fine (master & the one they made me) (works for both locks & ignition/driving).  Stay away from the Ford dealership. They are sharks. No "Slave key" needed.

Just programmed my 3rd and 4th ( backup keys) for my 2008 F-150 XLl --just a key--no FOB.
a locksmith friend cut the keys for me
I had the 2 factory keys-did the new key---off-on-off,
and remove--put backin and 'voila'--it starts. Repeat process for next key...MAGIC -THANX
