I did everything correctly and worked only for a couple hours until it turned off and put me on a screen saying "Can't initiate ps4" now im stuck on a screen telling me to "Reinstall system software" By using a USB so i guess ima have to do that and replay every single campaign again 🗿

Make sure you click on the eject usb on your pc or laptop don’t just yank it out it won’t save your files and you will get that annoying message usb not found on your ps4 when your trying to reinstall your software

While I was able to reinstall the 8.03 update successfully using my USB drive the PS4 still wouldn't boot up. Always started with scanning the system before giving me the same message again which was to update to 8.03 with the reinstallation file. So that's what I did and this worked but of course all data is gone. I tried all the other options first but no luck.

What if I did option 7 in safe mode and my ps4 isn’t working anymore just goes back to safe mode

Mine goes right back into safe mode after update. What do I do please? I really don't want to lose my data; I wouldn't even know how to begin downloading everything from scratch again. Internet isn't cheap in my country and not all my saves are backed up. I hate this so much...I was just playing RDR2 when the Power Holding Company took the power and just like that, my game keeps on looping into safe mode..loads up to 64% then jumps to 100% only to tell me "Cannot start PS4".
