this is a temporary solution, since with the arrival of a new update, the laucher will still not work and we will not be able to enter the game

For me i went in the genshing folder and ran the launcher.exe as an administrater and it worked

Basically when I first started playing Genshin (back when the diluc and kaeya cut scene was the only thing everyone talked about) this happened and I didn’t know how to fix it so I uninstalled the game and didn’t play until like 3 months ago on my iPad, and now I wanna go back to PC and I was scared I would have to uninstall if again

I know a fix, if you have Riot Vanguard open, disabling it lets the launcher works just fine, like so everyone can see

The reason this error is happening is because you don't have the .dll files need to launch the updater. Go on microsoft visual C++ 2019 and download the package. It fixed the problem for me without having to launch directly from the executable file.

ok this bug seems to hit me today and i have to say starting the game from the folder without the launcher still seem to work perfectly :3 I have to thank you for that it was a big help for me now.

Thanks alot this worked, whenever it click update it says " check your files" something rentable to that . I uninstalled it twice hoping that worked but I didn't. Thanks btw this help alot
