I feel like your videos have so much potential but they’re always so short and cut off before you show anything being used or done. I would enjoy longer videos from you, please make it happen lol

sorry, what are we supposed to detect while looking at the sliced model there?

How tho... you told me what the tool was
...
But no tip?
Or was the tip to check slicers, cause again you failed to show why it happened.. show the fault and show how to fix 😅

Seeing a short like this has me worried going into the 3d printing space. I haven't even set up my printer yet and im already worried that im going to mess something up. I have no idea what I should be looking for on the slicer that would cause this issue, or how to go about fixing it.

Well, it looks like I get to spend hours watching YouTube videos and wasting hundreds of dollars on filament to figure it out. Thanks for the tip. 👍

With my wood burner, the heat gun from Harbor Freight, and Bondic (instant plastic glue) are a must!

Love having a spare wood burner or soldering iron to fix prints! Need to be careful with soldering irons though as if they are not new, most good solder contains lead, so the wood burner is nice!

I think I have the same wood burning tool, though I often have problems burning the filament on accident..

What would I check for in the sliced model?

I've seen these wood burners around for fixing problems with 3D prints, however all I have is a TS-100 soldering iron. Would you recommend picking up a few extra tips and just using those instead of a wood burner?

Aside from that, seeing your massive filament fallout shelter: I've been looking to get my hands on some Tianse Coffee Brown 1.75mm PLA, but it's pretty much impossible to get here in The Netherlands (for a reasonable price). Do you happen to own this color and can you recommend a different brand that looks similar to it? (Thus far most browns I've seen didn't appeal to me hence looking for something similar).

How do you clean the wood burning tool bits from all the melted plastic ?

Any standard profile should print this T-Rex fine. I don't understand how to mess it up so it's limbs are stuck?

That is so neat! I have a question. My printer has worked fine for a few months and then all of a sudden the filament stopped coming out of the extruder. At Chris I thought the nozzle was clogged, but I checked it out and it is fine. It seems like the filament is getting stopped right before the heat block. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

I have the same burner but find gets dark fast and browns the plastic . Any tips

I'd guess 60% of my print failures are from me not paying attention to the slicer 😅

I'll assume you accidentally put supports on which would bind everything up. I'm not saying I did that that's exactly what I'm saying.

Look at your sliced model is not a tip. You're not telling people what to look for... I can only assume you had raft or brims on? But even brims would still be easy to remove, annoying, but easy. Also the sliced model will tell you absolutely nothing about "how pretty" it will turn out... This just looks like an poorly formatted ad for the filament brand and wood burner. Especially considering you never responded to any of the people genuinely asking what to look for.

What a useless video. You neither told us how to “check” our sliced models nor how to “fix” them with your tool.
