Modifying Waist Shaping

I always leave the side waist shaping out because it isn’t flattering at all- at least on me. I never thought to move the waist shaping to the front and back, but it makes perfect sense and I will give a go. Thanks for the tip!

I wonder how this compares with waist shaping by reducing needle size? Using smaller needles appeals to me because it seems it would really be 3 dimensional as the whole cylinder narrows. Thoughts?
