No but seriously most belts are unflattering unless they sit perfectly on my waist, theyre not meant rlly to sit on a curve like my hips, they ruin my silhouette. Id prefer this to a belt any day

Genius of an idea! I have used this method on leggings, but never thought to use on jeans. I always resort to the elastic method, but I love this idea better. I will try this on my work slacks next. It gives a much better fit than the elastic method since the drawstrings are not as stretchy. Thank you for posting!

thrifted a pair of jeans today and i loved the way they fit aside from the fact the waist was gaping... just tried this though and it worked really well! they fit very comfortably now and sit nicely on my waist.

Where has this been all my life? This is exactly what i had always needed!

This also gave be an idea of adding elastics to some of my clothes as well.

But this would be good for someone who's weight fluctuates a lot too (not enough to change pant sizes but enough that the waistband fit might fit differently)

Great video! I’m a guy and have this problem as well. I have no butt whatsoever and have a waist gap even with a belt. I can tighten my belt until it’s uncomfortable but it will still feel like my pants are falling down all day and it drives me crazy. I will definitely be trying this hack.
