This video is NOT to say waist trainers are useless but to inform you of their limits so you don’t buy into false ideas. You MAY lose belly fat bc these things restrict your appetite if worn long enough but they’re not a certified fat loss agent, so they shouldn’t be marketed as so. Anything except surgery is NOT permanent duh ! You will always have to maintain. Eventually you can go to 1-2x a month. And if you already have a low body fat % then yes you will lose probably around 2-3 inches, which is STILL ALOT. If you have higher body fat then the inches lost will be much more but that’s bc it’s fat and not actually making your abdominal muscles smaller yet bc it’s not able to target there yet, which happens to those with less body fat % bc the trainer can target those areas since there’s less fat there.

Waist trainer does magic to your back!! I've been wearing one at work since couple of years, I do a physically demanding job and I used to get mad backaches before. The waist trainer keeps my back straight enough and gives me that extra support that keeps me from bending in dodgy ways and hurt myself. Personal experience, can't talk for everybody ofc. But I always recommend it to people, not for snatching purposes, but whenever they complain about back pains!

Okay so basically no point of using them and not worth the money

Yes this is true, BUT It does give you permanent shaping over time. So if you use consistently it will reshape the flexible ribs/cartilage to give you a narrower waist. It is great for ASSISTING in weight loss when used during exercise as well as it helps you sweat [fat leaves the body through urine and sweat, hence why water consumption is very important - 61 oz minimum per day( 8 - 8ozs glasses of water]. I will be coupling mine with a faja underneath when I use my sauna blanket. [Another helpful tip: fat cells die at <39 degrees F and >110 degrees F]. I plan to start documenting how well this works starting Wednesday after my ordered faja is delivered, if anyone is interested.

To ppl who refuse to believe, they do shrink your waist. Im 35, been at training since a teen. I went from a 42 inch waist to a 30 inch waist and my belly flap from 2 pregnancy and a c section is gone and i carry super big (im short 5'2). I've always been fit. Active as a kid everyday. Sports(wrestling) in high-school. I'm an Army combat veteran and all my units were super hard core on fitness. And I workout hard(2-4× a day or more HIIT and crossfit and weightlift usually atleast 2hour session and I do 1-5hr workout a week too) and waist training is the ONLY thing that helped my waist(skin and fat) go almost back to its original. Before kids I was a 34-20-40. Now I'm 42, 30, 50. And every mom that doubted me that start waist training always thanks me. Bc it does minimize appetite and it does change your shape. U just must do it right and do it always if you aren't a natural hourglass shape like me(and I even do it daily so not to loose any results). And even with diet and exercise u must always do it or u will lose the benefits. Haters love to hate about waist training but it works when done correctly. I've never regretted getting into shapers and corsets. But yes everyone results is different too.

My mom wore them after every baby, snapped her waist back & tummy, my cousin in law wore them faithfully after every baby, her waist stayed tiny, women with children swear by them. They do work, just have to wear them all day, sleep in them & that’s uncomfortable

I did use a waist trainer until I got a proper corset. Realistically you will see a difference, not a huge one but for me and having minimal curves it helped with my confidence. I found that it did push in my rib cage temporarily, and my floating ribs definitely held the shape which I like, but as I haven’t worn it for a while I’ve overall lost progress. Still super pretty to wear, and the more you wear it the more/ longer you’ll see the effect. If you’re interested in waist training (I’d recommend with a corset) do it but don’t expect a drastic change.

It actually helps skin tightening if you’ve had a c-section like I have I’ve used it and I has worked for the belly fat too you just have to be consistent use it at least 3-5h every day in 2weeks will see a change

This is like anti advertising the waist trainer, but it needs to do be said because some ppl are just dumb and have these false narratives in their head that this will make this work like the ppl doing hip dip workouts thinking it’ll get rid of it when it’s genetics and bone structure 💀

What waist trainers and corsets will do however is support your back, as someone who wears them specifically for that

Hello, I'm a personal trainer and usually always willing to offer my free advice when wanted(: Most people have a weak core from slouching all the time. Waist trainers help remind you to sit up straight and use those core muscles more. And cardio and a deficit isn't the only way to lose fat. 😅
A lot of weightlifters WANT to gain fat to help them build muscle! They gain fat, gain muscle and then cut body fat again. For the average person that wants to lose say 20-50lbs Don't wait to lose a bunch of fat before starting an exercise regimen. Build muscle whilst in that deficit (focus on compound movements, and you will recomp.

But when waist training you’ll probably eat less if wearing the corset so yes it will help lose weight

Do it the natural way with stomach vacuums instead. That’s how a lot bodybuilding men and women get that small waistline. It’s free and it’s a core/breathing workout.
