Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Video Review

In a stunning turnaround, Square Enix has successfully redeemed its Final Fantasy MMORPG.

I'll admit that I'm not too big of a fan of Square-Enix anymore, but I have to give them props for this. They promised to rectify their mistakes with FF14 and produce something worth playing, and they did it. Kudos, Squeenix.

It's incredible. Have been knee deep in it since day 1, and im a 1.0 player. This game is going to be a smash hit for years.

This game is great. The combat is so heavy on teamwork and it finds a great balance of action-y fast and mobile combat with the old school stand and beat Em up mmo combat. Story is interesting and the world feels like I wish I could actually be there a lot of the time. I was taking a risk by investing 40 dollars to buy the game and only getting a free month and afterwards it would either be unplayable or p2p but so far I see no problem forking over a couple dollars a month to get lost in there. Love it.

and now in 2019 with Shadowbringers expansion being an absolute gold. Wow. Way to go Yoshi-P. You saved Square Enix! If this game didn't become successful it would've meant almost bankruptcy for SE and the FFVII remake we are now salivating for would've never happened.

I would love to play this game, but the monthly subscription is a huge negative. I'm already paying for WoW, so paying for another monthly game wouldn't be a wise idea. Most of the newer MMORPG's lately have been going for the F2P or the buy once and play forever type model, which is amazing, which is also why I'm confused as to why they went with a subscription base.

Tis one of a few mmo's without a leathaly toxic community, wich is why i am perfectly fine with wow and lol players sticking with their game and not coming over and soiling the XIV community with their nastiness.

You know, this to me is amazing, ffxiv is a favorite of mine.

I'm a dragoon <3 love my Lance oriented job. Have been since the game released on ps3.

Now we are getting our first expansion. It's so cool to see how far the game has come.

I have this game for the PS4. In my opinion, it is a wonderful game. The only thing that I don't like is the game's map. Its simple, but complicated. Also this was the first Final Fantasy game that I like. I've tried others, I couldn't handle the difficulty. I would usually only play Battlefield 4 or Fallout NV, but now I'm hooked to this :D

Didn't mention the market retainers or DoW, DoL classes, didn't show any of the beautiful locations such as gridania or the black shroud, 3/10 for the review

The monthly fee is great, it keeps out all the trash.

There are short loading screens between zones, but the zones in question are massive and are not instanced like in GW1, meaning you can find anyone from your server in them

Everything the guy in this video was hoping for to be balanced in the game already happened ....after this year's E3 game should be reviewed again, because it has changed so much for the better since launch...
