Bro I just wanted to play a Machinist, when I saw AAR credits I thought that was it but no, I read that I had to do like 100 more quests and after Leviathan I just started to skip everything. Thank you for this recap.

I originally went through ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood in 2022. It's been 2 weeks, and I'm replaying through the starter edition to recap everything I know before expanding into Shadowbringers and beyond. ARR has been, without a doubt, a slog of a campaign; I am aware that the content in ARR is drastically essential for the story and is further expanded upon in the expansions beyond, but goddamn, even by 2013 standards, I can see why a lot of people would just hit a massive brick wall in ARR.

I am currently going through the post-patches of ARR, and I clicked on this video thinking it wouldn't be much of a "decent" recap. Even if some recaps take several hours long, they would go into further detail and overall be "better" than the recaps that are 10-20 minutes. However, I am IMPRESSED by how simple, condensed, and easily explainable this recap video has been. I thought I wouldn't remember much, but wow, this recap refreshed my memory, and I suddenly remembered all the details as they played out.
